Super Match 2019

Noor Best in Match for the RR Inter-club Super Match 2019

Fantastic day at the Rhodesian Ridgeback clubs Inter-club Super Match, hosted brilliantly by the RRCS.
Thanks to judge Dorothy McGoldrick (Village Dogs), for placing Noor 1st in her heat, then all Open and finally Best in Match.
Super proud of my faithful Noor in all she has done to stand 1st amongst the top Ridgebacks from the four clubs.
We are honoured to now hold the Super Match trophy for the next three years.
Thanks to RRSC for the beautiful rosettes and gifts that went with the trophy, especially the sash bearing the new Scottish logo ... Noor’s first sash.
This result ranks in the best you can win among peers, and with great significance to Noor (see below).
Great to compete alongside my team mate Heidi and her winning Reserve Best in Match.
We had a great team representing RRCGB, making it a brilliant day in great company of friends from all parts of the country.

Helping the team win the Champion Tarhaan Karina Challenge Shield
for our team:
The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Great Britain
Date Name Club
1997 Ch Ir Ch Mursil Huntsmaster of Barca SRRC
2000 Ousebay Mungo's Magic tba
2004 Hespa Halal at Otaui RRCGB
2008 Ch Sonstraal Gabe's Prospect at Sescheke RRCS
2013 Kamili Busara RRCS
2016 Ch Sofala Golden Glow RRCGB
2019 Kansenji Noor RRCGB
A highly significant win and honour for Noor, as two former winners of the shield are in her pedigree:

Grandfather : Ch Sonstraal Gabe's Prospect at Sescheke (Teddy).
Teddy won  on 5th April 2008 for RRCS. A testament to her grandparents, Teddy and Phoebe (Manzili Maskhara Sh CM), that she has carried their form through her mum: Sescheke's A Touch of Class (Mara) .... Noor certainly has that class.

Also 5 generations back her great, great, great grandfather : Ch / Ir Ch Mursil Huntsmaster of Barca (first winner of the trophy 1997).
Twice he features in the Walamadengie lines through to: Ir Ch Walamadengie Monte-Carlo (Monte), Noor's Father.

So this win reflects the excellent lines that have led to our very special Kansenji Noor.
